REAL MADRID IN FRESH TRANSFER APPROACH FOR MANCHESTER UNITED'S DAVID DE GEA

The Spanish giants are said to be making fresh advances over the 27-year-old shot-stopper, who has been a top target of theirs since they nearly signed him in 2015.

De Gea’s move to Madrid fell through at the last minute that year, but Los Blancos have remained keen on him and may now put together an offer to tempt United into selling.
According to the Daily Mirror, United expect a new bid in the region of £50million for the Spain international, which would make him the most expensive ‘keeper of all time.
And while United want to keep their number one, it is thought that such an offer could seriously test their resolve, with manager Jose Mourinho confident in his current backup options.
Sergio Romero performed well in De Gea’s absence last season, while youngster Joel Pereira is rated highly and could step up to being a decent backup to the Argentine next season.
Most worryingly for Red Devils fans, De Gea himself remains keen on a move to the Bernabeu, though it is thought he won’t go out of his way to force a transfer through for the moment.
